AGIP FORK is a series of oils from a high Viscosity “Index base stock and additives expressly formulated for use in forks an shock absorbers of bikes, for both street and off road operation.
The choice among the various grades is to be made according to ambient temperatures, riding patterns and desired dampening effect.
Suspension
fluids for conventional forks, upside down forks, cartridge type
forks and rear shocks. Improves damping and rebound action for
better traction and handling. Maintains seal pliability for a
precise response, controls leakage, eliminates foaming and extends
fork life. All have consistent high viscosity indexes eliminates
high temperature "fading". Great variety of viscosities
for fine tuning according to preference.
Properties and Performance:
• AGIP FORK have peculiar rheological characteristics such as a very low pour point, fluidity at cold temperatures and high viscosity index, which ensure a regular and constant response of forks and shock absorbers over a wide temperature range.
• Their anti wear properties keep moving parts in optimum condition.
• Their antirust properties effectively protect the lubricated parts from moisture attack.
• AGIP FORK also have other favourable characteristics such as quick air release, low foaming tendency and elastomer compatibility.
